I appreciate your signing up to receive my posts. It’s humbling really. I pray this on-line community gathering-place helps us all better connect real life with real faith.

I’d like your help to make it even more helpful for you.

Here’s how:

1. Let me know what topics or issues resonate most with you or that you would like to read about more. Go ahead and leave a comment here with ideas or shoot me an e-mail. My address is pretty visible in my blog header. I try to make it easy to connect. It’s been great hearing from so many of you. If you don’t have anything in particular in mind, don’t worry, I’ve got plenty to share. Just thought I’d ask you first.

2. I’d love to get to know you more, as well. If you don’t mind, share a detail or two about your life experience or family in the comments or via e-mail. For example, you likely already figured out that I’m a father of six kids and a school principal for children ranging from 4 -18 years old. Quite a range of stories.

What you may not know is that I serve on our local zoning appeals board and on the park committee. Or that I live in the maple syrup capital of the world — yes, Chardon syrup is better than Vermont’s. Or that I have spent 102 days “on property” at Disney World so far. 45 days in one year. Yep, I’m a bit of a Disney fanatic. If I can help you plan your next vacation there, just holler. Oh, I’m kind of in to gardening. A little. And after ten years in the floral business back in the day, I make a mean corsage — OK, maybe that was too much information. But you get the idea.

3. I’ll begin posting at in the coming days. At that time, you can also subscribe to that feed or make the extra click from this one (I know, a whole extra click!). But it will be worth it. Guaranteed or your money back.

4. Finally, I’ll be spotlighting organizations, ministries, and people who are living out real life with real faith. Their stories will be featured both on my blogs and possibly via a new podcast later this summer. I’d appreciate hearing your suggestions! If you’ve got any ideas, send them my way and, if it’s a good fit, I’ll do what I can to spread their story of faith. Thanks in advance for the tips!

Thank you for your time.  I value it as I do my own. If you like what you read on my blog, tell a friend or two. If not, don’t. That’s cool. Those signed up by this Friday, June 8, will be included to give feedback on my new Faith Project.

Oh, and don’t forget. Go ahead and get out of the boat. Today.

Everything will be OK.

Leave a comment here to share a little about you or ideas for topics or interviews. Thanks!
